Investigating, Defending and Defeating Workers' Compensation Claims In New Jersey

This teleconference will discuss steps to properly investigate a questionable claim in order to document, prepare and produce the factual, medical and eventual legal defenses to a claim. We will discuss the strategy necessary to obtain the evidence in the initial hours and days after an alleged injury takes place, which will turn into the evidence necessary to defeat a claim months or years later in court. We will review claims that are most frequently contested and have a discussion on how the evidence gathered can result in a defeated claim or claim that can be resolved with a significant discount. Examples of claims that were successfully defended including the facts, medical and legal arguments made will be reviewed to lay a foundation concerning how that process can be repeated.
